Ants

One is never enough.

What Ants Do To Your Home

Ants are not picky eaters. They will consume nectar from plants, both living and dead insects as well as items commonly found in our homes. This includes meats, dairy products, vegetables and sweets. They often infest homes while foraging for food but also when looking for a source of moisture. Ant infestations are not uncommon.

Think you have an ant infestation problem? If you are seeing ants where you don’t want them, then you do have an ant infestation problem.

Here’s How We Take Care of Ants

1

The first thing we’ll do is perform a free onsite inspection. We’ll then outline the steps required to solve the problem.

2

Required treatments carried out with various visits until the problem is taken care of.

3

A scheduled routine visit to put a preventative plan in place to monitor and prevent/treat any further ants from coming back.

Once ants get inside your home, it is unlikely they will go away on their own. It is important to know and identify the species of ants to determine the correct method of ant control. There are various gel and baiting systems that can be used and purchased. Knowing where to apply and the ants behavior is a key component. Once the problem has been brought under control a strict preventative program is the best defense against a re-infestation. This can include interior and exterior treatments, sealing up entry points around the home and placing growth regulators around the property. This needs to be done on a regular scheduled basis for the preventative program to work.
