Should I remove a wasp nest myself?
We don’t recommend attempting to remove an active wasp, hornet, or yellowjacket nest yourself, especially if the nest is large, difficult to reach, or located inside a wall or in the ground. Disturbing a nest can cause the colony to become defensive, and wasps and yellowjackets can sting multiple times. Professional treatment allows the nest to be approached with the appropriate equipment and treatment method.
Are wasps and hornets covered by your regular pest control service?
Wasp and hornet treatment may be included for customers on our General Pest Control plan, depending on the location and accessibility of the nest. Additional charges may apply for nests requiring specialized high-reach equipment or other unusual access.
